Kubica injury likely to rule him out of the start of the new F1 season

From the look of the car he got off quite lightly - and things sound as though they are going well surgically so hopefully it will not be the end for him.

OK so new cars launched and first couple of practise sessions over and just under a month to go.
How does it look?
Red Bull & Ferrari seem to be looking good, Renault (Black Lotus) is different and innovative, Maclaren is striking looking and not very reliable and the others are still working hard..
What do you all think?
And what about the tyres?

It appears that the Japanese GP has gone the way of the Bahrain GP - postponed; till October by all accounts.

Interested to discover that the stone for the tracks in Abu Dhabi and Bahrain was exported from a quarry just down the road from here.... and that they have found an Iron age road predating the romans by over 100 years... so perhaps they came and learned roads from us!

The British should be interesting tomorrow. Not that I expect out lads to win. Seems to be a bit of a" pigs ear" changing the rules at short notice?

Well, that was a poor do - no front wheel nut. Lost interest after that.A bad pit stop cost Vettel as well. Hamilton did fair, but it could all have gone wrong on that last corner as well.

Couple of good spats between Red Bull cars, especially penultimate lap and Hamilton and Massa, just like the good old F1 days :)

Good weekend with F1 and the cricket!

Left to drive to Bournemouth for a Funeral at 1bout 2.20, but jensen had been pulled, so really lost interest after that. Good win for Lewis, buy why cannot Jensen have the same car??

So, after about 40 years of watching F1 on TV, I am now to be 50% deprived!!

The beeb has sold it's soul. 50%

Still 50" on "Free to air" as they call it. Sounds  as if they are are giving pearls to the swine, and doing us a favour.

Shame about the broadcast rights.... a plague on bernie and all his house for his fickle running after filthy lucre!
On the other hand LH showed well in first day's free practise for Hungary....:-)

Now that was better :) 200th GP and a win.

What another good race. The rest of the season should be great if all three cars are like this, but with the Champion already known. A big leap forward by Maclaren. Felt a wee bt sorry for lewis not being 2nd, but there you go - should not be doing a 3 point turn in a bunch.

Feel for Hamilton but pleased for Button.

Strange how the stewards decisions aways seem to go against him and het when there's a dancing donkey in the frame all is always well!.

Season is hotting up, isn't it?
