To add my tuppence'orth - I think Mark nailed it when he said they just tried to join in with what was going on. Our 'strategy' is quite simply being available and responding to the needs when we see them. Struggles - just keep hoping that he will send workers!

WV I agree, only trying to discern if we are to pray for the workers to come or to try to raise up & train the workers..... finding "volunteers" hard to come by!

Yes Mark, it's a toughie. I guess the answer is a bit of both - pray for volunteers to come forward to be trained. A lot of folk are still happy to sit back and let the vicar and spouse do it all, even though we have a very collaborative approach.
